Strategic Planning and Precinct Delegate Coordination
Linda Gram
Ms. Gram has over 40 years experience in healthcare as a Respiratory Therapist and Registered Nurse. She’s trained in Lean Process Improvement and has coordinated many healthcare projects and computer implementations over the years. Earning her Associates in Respiratory Therapy and Registered Nursing from Monroe County Community College, her Bachelors in Psychology from Adrian College, and her Masters in Organizational Leadership Administration from Concordia University, Ann Arbor. She has lived in Dundee all of her life.
Linda joined the MCDP office volunteers as she started seeing the attack on women’s rights and healthcare. She is particularly concerned about the goals of Project 2025 and feels that it’s important for us as a party to start listening more, in order to understand what our neighbors really want and need. She wants to get back to basics by focusing on groups we have lost.
To that end, she aims to partner with other organizations that are working toward similar goals. Her main goal for this year as Chair of Strategic Planning is to develop and support an organized structure that will improve and strengthen the democratic party.

Media and Communications 2025
Our committee members are molding the future and driving change! This is a time for shifting gears for progress, putting the brakes on corruption, and steering for change, one policy at a time. With turbocharged energy and a full-throttle approach, we are hitting the gas on exposing the corrupt administration takeover.
Prioritizing Diversity:
We believe that diversity in voices is our strength and the backbone of our committee. By embracing different backgrounds, experiences, and viewpoints, we connect with a broader audience, cultural awareness, sensitivity, respect, and accurate representation. We are accelerating toward equality, fueling our engine with progress, and ensuring that no voice is left unheard. When we see silenced voices, it's our job to uplift them. Being diverse helps us reach everyone where they are, creating a more inclusive and equitable world.
Call to Action:
Are you ready to get shift done? Grab a key and let’s start the engine! From pen and paper to the podium, from handling the microphone to recording the Reel story, and flashing through the headlines, our lens is clear. Let's capture the moments, frame the issues, and relay the unfiltered truth to the public.
We welcome forward-thinkers, steering toward freedom and democracy. Our team of truth-sayers, the bold, and the brave, make a real difference.

I was fortunate to be a GenX guy when personal computers started to become popular. This helped me learn about computers and follow closely as the years have passed by. I've also had jobs that required very intimate knowledge of computers to communicate between host systems and test equipment, so that tremendously helped my troubleshooting skills.
Outside of being a mushroom (a cool fun guy) I try to not be too serious, but our latest update on the walking Cheeto has caused me to be much more realistic to the possibilities that we are in the last leg of Democracy as we know it. If we don't stand up now, we won't have anything left in 4 years.
I'm compelled to put my energy into something that could make a difference. Just something to hold those of us up a little longer, and raise our voices a little louder to bring love and empathy to our leadership.

I'm looking forward to contributing to the Monroe County Democratic Party now and in the future.
Daughter of a WWII Veteran, from Lexington, Kentucky. Graduate of University of Kentucky in Respiratory Therapy and Allied Health Education. Came to Michigan in 1972 to work at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor (now Michigan Medicine) because it was one of the best places in USA to learn my craft as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.. Worked 9 years in the field before being hired to start the Respiratory Therapy Program at Monroe County Community College.
Retired from MCCC after 34 years as Program Director. Three adult children, three grandchildren. I love challenges, contributing to problem solving, and being with good people. My friend, Linda Lauer, recruited me to volunteer with MCDP and I'm grateful as I've met a lot of new friends.

I am a mother and a grandmother; married for 54+ years (so I’m old too); and have been active in politics for 15+ years for good reason, and have a family of cats compliments of the COVID quarantine. They were born in our boat and I couldn’t find a rescue to take them.
I am a retiree from two separate levels of government both of which have reduced my retirement benefits compliments of decisions made by other government agencies. I have no choice but to be active in the Democratic Party because the Republican Party is determined to destroy government employees’ retirement and benefits. I have been the Recording Secretary for AFSCME Wayne County Sub-Chapter 38 Retirees union for twelve (12) years.
I was the Treasurer of the MCDP for two years (1 term), have actively worked on numerous local and statewide campaigns. I have been a Precinct Delegate in Frenchtown for three terms. I am a Democratic representative on the Monroe County Board of Canvassers. I have been a member of the County Executive Committee for eight years.
